David has been researching North East Staffordshire and the villages of

Swincoe and Blore for over forty years and is NOW involved with

research into the village of CALTON, its houses, farms and residents.

He also has researched the Bassetts of Blore, Drayton and Hints.  His

book "Swinscoe, Blore and the Bassetts" was published in 1998 and he

was responsible also for the guide of  Blore Church and a booklet on the

history of Blore Hall.
